Sylvester Magee oral history interview, 1969.

In the interview, Magee discusses his parents, his owners (masters) in Mississippi before the Civil War, his service during the Civil War under General John Reuben, and his family. Magee describes his participation in fighting at Vicksburg and Gettysburg.
